Residents asked to use caution when traveling Main Street through the Town of Clay and leave yourself a few extra minutes travel time. Mountaineer Gas is in the process of replacing old gas lines in front of the Town Water Plant, which is causing some delays. During the repairs, the company has set up temporary traffic lights which let traffic pass through one way at a time for a three minute period. Watch for stopped traffic and practice work zone safety when passing through this section of town.
