Middle School Shares the Magic of Music‘Tis the season for holiday cheer and nothing helps to spread that magic feeling like music. The students of the Clay Middle School concert band and choir were feeling festive as they entertained a crowd with a variety of Christmas themed songs this past week. Under the direction of Rachel Burge, the choir sang an assortment of songs from holiday soundtracks and featured some excellent solo work. Doug Wayne directed the band through a medley of festive tunes, each one sounding better than the last. The children worked very hard and that was evident when listening to the wonderful sound of music in the air that night. The concert was thoroughly enjoyed, making everyone anxious to see what masterpieces the group will work on next.
