Summer Alley draws first blood.
Summer Alley draws first blood.

The Lady Panther Softball team pulled a rabbit out of their hat Thursday night at Bradley Field. I thought, “Who are these girls?” as they proceeded to stomp the visiting Charleston Catholic team. The bats exploded in the second and third innings and runs were scored with some heads up base running. The Ladies showed no mercy once they started their clobbering. This was an LKC placement game and the Lady Panthers will once again hit the field running at Herbert Hoover where they will play the Lady Grizzlies of Nicholas. If they win there, they will play the winner of the Hoover Lady Huskies game. The winners will move on, and the losers go home. The Ladies have had a tough year but are finishing the year with a bang. Come on out Tuesday night for the make or break game against Nicholas County. It all starts at 5PM.
