The Lady Mustangs and middle school dominance.
Grabbing All Conference were L-R Melanie McKinney and Alexis Blake
Grabbing All Tournament were L-R Tori Humphrey, Graci Mitchell and Emily Morton

The Lady Mustangs show why they are the best.

The Lady Mustang cheerleaders have done it! They have captured the coveted CWVAC cheerleading championship for 2013. The competition will have to be at a feverish level of intensity from this point forward because of the performance the Lady Mustangs staged. Their routine was unmatched by the other teams represented. With teams like Summersville, Braxton, Calhoun and Walton bringing their absolute A game, the Lady Mustangs had to pour it on. With nerves tighter than banjo strings the ladies strode onto the court with their heads held high, and, in Lady Mustang cheerleading fashion, cheered, flipped, twirled, stunted, lifted and danced their way into CWVAC history by winning the competition.
The Lady Mustangs have brought back the bragging rights to CCMS; nobody does it better than the CCMS Cheerleaders and they have the trophy to prove it. Congratulations to Coach Leslie Goe and, of course, to the Lady Mustangs on a great performance and for proving that the competitive spirit in the Clay County Middle School is second to none.
