On Sunday, January 19 Trooper Ellis responded to an assault call on Blue Knob Road in Maysel. Upon arrival, the officer was advised by Jennifer Fugett that Kristie English had come to her home and asked to use the phone. While there, English became enraged and began yelling at Fugett who ushered English onto the front porch. English attempted to hit Fugett during this time and also tried to set the porch of the home on fire with a lighter.

The same evening, Kristie English also went to the home of Randy Runion on Blue Knob, acting in the same erratic manor. While at Runion’s home, English threw a piece of wood through a vehicle window, punched holes into the wall and destroyed a flat screen television. English also attempted to hit Mr. Runion while at the home.

Trooper Ellis arrested Kristie English and charged her with one felony count of 4th degree arson and three misdemeanors including destruction of property and two counts of assault. English remains in Central Regional Jail where she is being held on $26,000.00 bond.
