Sark’s Dairy Bar

“When losing a spouse, you search for a home because your home kind of disappears when they pass.  Home isn’t four walls, it is people. Clay County is home,” says Amanda Sark. Amanda is reopening Sark’s Dairy Bar, previously known as the Rockin’ S Dairy Bar, which she and her late husband, Josh Sark, started last August.

Tragedy struck the Sark family on February 25, 2021, leaving them with a void.  Losing a husband and father unexpectedly was hard on the family.  Josh suffered from a leaky valve that resulted in an aortic aneurysm, leaving Amanda to pick up the pieces and continue the dreams he had for the dairy bar.

The Sark Family.

Amanda has had much community support since the reopening over the last several weeks, and will continue to offer great food including hot dogs, ice cream, and everything in between for fair prices. Stop by and grab lunch or dinner. Hours of operation are still being worked out. Follow the Dairy Bar on Facebook to keep up to date on menus and hours!
