First Lady Joanne Jaeger Tomblin invites West Virginia artists to craft and present ornaments to be exhibited on the Governor’s Mansion Holiday Tree as part of the 3rd annual Artistree project. The 2013 Artistree Catalog will feature submissions, and participating artists will be invited to a special celebration at the Governor’s Mansion.
“We have had great success with artists getting involved the past couple of years,” said First Lady Tomblin. “This marks the third year for the Artistree and we are hoping for the largest one yet. We invite all artists across the Mountain State to join in the holiday festivities and submit ornaments to help us decorate the Governor’s Mansion Holiday tree.” The tree is to be unveiled Tuesday, December 3rd.
For submission information and printable form please visit: http://www.wvculture.org/arts/artistree/2013form.pdf
Ornaments must be received no later than Friday, November 15, 2013 at 4:00 p.m.
