Dawn spoke of a personal experience when her father needed flown from the site but the pilots experienced difficulty seeing where to land. Dawn enlisted the help of Doug Douglas, the Director of Base Operations at HealthNet Aeromedical Services. Doug explained the need for proper lighting at the landing pad for the safety of both emergency personnel and the patient being evacuated.
