The Clay County Commission met Wednesday, starting their meeting with the standard approval of minutes, bills, purchase orders, assessments and estate business.
Marlene Lewis Phillips resigned from the Clay County Business Development Authority and Brandon Keiper was appointed to the vacant position. Keiper is a pharmacist and part owner of the new Clay Family Pharmacy.
Beverly King and Garrett Samples were both appointed to the Clay County E911 Advisory Board through 2016.
The Sheriff’s Department donated an unused 2000 Chevy Impala patrol car to the town of Clay.
The County Commission is holding a public auction on Wednesday, November 13 at 11:00 am immediately following the next scheduled meeting.
