This past Friday night the CCHS Panther football team was in action at Calhoun County taking on the Red Devils. The Panthers jumped out to an early lead on an 80 yard run by Tyler Stewart. Stewart had a big night along with the Panthers defense which held Calhoun to only one catch in 15 attempts for 26 yards. The Red Devils only had 126 rushing yards on 32 attempts. The Panthers defensive pressure never relented, forcing 1 fumble, 1 interception for a td, and 4 sacks. The final score was Clay 40 – Calhoun 19.
