In recent years, the Fola Coal Company provided coats to the kids in this county who were in need.  With the recent closure, those coats are no longer being provided.  The 911 Center has decided to hold a coat drive and provide those kids with new coats for this winter season.  We could not stand the thoughts of those kids not having a warm coat to wear as this weather is getting colder.
They are in need of approximately 100 coats to provide to the elementary schools this year, and are looking for donations to raise enough money to purchase the children new coats.  Donations can be dropped off at the 911 center.
There will also be a spaghetti lunch on Thursday November 7th at the Lions Club and orders may be placed in advance by calling the non-emergency number at the 911 center.  That number is 304-587-2019.
The lunch will include spaghetti, salad with dressing, and a hot roll.  We will also deliver to businesses.  The time for the lunch is from 11:00 until 2:00.  The lions club will also be open for anyone who would like to eat on site.  If there would be any way you could help spread the word, I would greatly appreciate it.
