This week West Virginia State Police arrested a Charleston area man for multiple sexual assault charges related to crimes that took place here in Clay County with a 10 year old and 5 year old girls. Kevin Ray Bryant, 26, was being questioned by the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office on a sexual assault investigation when more information came about. Bryant gave a taped video confession admitting to being in Clay County and sexually assaulting a 10 year old child in her bedroom on multiple occasions. He also admitted to sexually assaulting a five year old child in May at the same location.
When arraigned before Magistrate Jeff Boggs, his bond was set at $250,000 cash or surety. Kevin Bryan charged with five felony counts of first-degree sexual assault.
