The CCHS 4×200 Relay team L-R Luke Young, Robert Daniels, Andy Jackson and David Tanner.

The track team put their skills to the test at Ripley this past week and once again did pretty well.  The 4×200 relay team was once again in the light. Robert Daniels, David Tanner, Andy Jackson and Luke Young took 3rd place in the event.  There are not too many teams that stand a chance against the 4×200 and the 4×400 CCHS boys. This event is one of the most exciting to watch and the Panthers do it well.  Other stand outs were Ryan Burdette with 6th place in the 110 meter high hurdles, the girls’ shuttle relay team took 4th place, boys’ shuttle relay team took 6th place, Robert Daniels took 5th in the 400 meter dash and Luke Young took 6th place in the 300meter low hurdles.  The team will be at Roane County on Friday for the LKC Championship. Running starts at 3:30pm, and it should be a good one for the Panther track team.
