The Panthers had a whale of a basketball week with some hard court action.

They tallied up three games this past week and racked up a win against the tough Grizzly team from Nicholas County beating them by the score of 72-64. Next up was Valley Fayette followed by Roane County. In each of those games the Panthers allowed a little too much of a point spread in the first period and found themselves in a game of catch up.

However, if you like a game full of action, you won’t want to miss a Panther game. There is plenty of high flying action and speed. The name of the game is to sink baskets, but doing it with flair is even better.

The Panthers are a better team than their record would suggest, but the ball just hasn’t bounced their way this season. They will play their homecoming game this Thursday night against Calhoun County.

Calhoun County was the first win of the season for the Panthers the first time they met, so let’s hope that the Panthers can pull off another win in front of the home crowd. They will be also crowning the Homecoming Queen Makalya Horrocks during half time.

Go Panthers!
