Lady Panthers on a Roll

pic5 pic4The CCHS Lady Panthers volley ball team most definitely had their ups and downs this week. On deck first was Charleston Catholic, coming into the match hopeful but not overzealous. The Lady Panthers didn’t get off the ground too well and seemed to be a little flat-footed against the fast playing Irish girls. The Lady Panthers fell to Charleston Catholic in two games, and with Fayetteville next on the hit list, they would have to define the problems and straighten them out. The Lady Panthers were able to pull their heads into the game and win the next two against Fayetteville, ending the night on a good note. The Lady Panthers took their show on the road Thursday to Doddridge to get back on track and stop the bleeding. There, they left no doubt that they wouldn’t let the loss to the Irish set them back. They came out with a vengeance and stomped the competition into the woodwork, defeating the girls of Doddridge in two straight games and then taking down South Harrison in two straight This week they will be on the road to take on the Lady Grizzlies, the Huskies, and will be in a rematch against the Lady Raiders. So, if you get the chance get out and support the team, you will be glad you did.
