There is no doubt that the CCMS volleyball teams, both JV and Varsity, bring all they have to the court when they play.

The Lady Mustangs brought the CWVAC Championship trophy back to CCMS last year and want to keep it there. At the beginning of the week, they hosted Ravenswood, and the Lady Mustangs gave them a  roasting in their home gym by defeating them in two straight games. Varsity came out pumped up later in the week and took down the Spencer Yellow Jackets in two straight games.  Fans seemed to come alive and the decibel levels went into eardrum bursting excitement.  The Varsity team did not disappoint the fans at all; they played like a team bent on taking on anybody and taking them down.

Congratulations to coach Angela Nichols and her assistant Melody Hubbard for doing some incredible coaching to get the Ladies into championship form.  If you get the opportunity and want to see some smoking hot volleyball action, go to a Mustang game.  You won’t be disappointed.   The Lady Mustangs will play two games this week with the one on Tuesday night against Summersville Middle and again on Thursday night at a tri match with Geary and Webster.  The Lady Mustangs seem bent on keeping the CWVAC Championship trophy where it belongs, at CCMS.  Come out and enjoy a game
