The ballot positions for the Clay County Board of Education candidates were chosen this week in the County Clerk’s office. Chosen through a process of drawing numbered bingo balls, the candidates will appear in the following order: David Pierson, Susan Bodkins, Jerry Linkinoggor, Andy Waddell, Lowell Drake and Dave Derby. Research has shown that a candidate’s position on the ballot often influences the voter’s choice. Don’t let ballot position choose your vote, get to know the candidates and their policies in order to make the choice that is best for the children in our county.
