Art-for-ALL is a student art exhibition for children in grades pre-K through 6 in Clay, Boone, Fayette, Kanawha, Lincoln and Putnam counties. This exhibition is meant to recognize and reward the excellence of a child’s creativity, ability and talent. Children are encouraged to submit artwork either directly with their families or in conjunction with their teacher and school. Children should submit one entry from one of the categories of 2-D, including painting, drawing, photography, collage, mixed media, printing and graphic arts; 3-D, including sculpture, pottery, woodcrafts, glass, jewelry, textiles, mixed media and constructions with recycled materials; or video, with a maximum of five minutes per video. The deadline for submitting entries is April 1, 2014. For details about submitting art work, visit

www.festivallcharleston.com or contact Betty Rivard at 304-364-8972.

Collected work will be displayed on a slide show on the websites for FestivAll and the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences. Winners will be chosen and notified by May 1. Artwork chosen for its excellence will then be displayed at an exhibition during FestivALL, June 20-29, in the lobby of the Clay Center. A public reception and awards ceremony will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. June 28 at the Clay Center.
