Amber Ramsey, a girl with Clay County ties, has committed to continue both her education and athletic abilities at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX. Amber is the daughter of Tim Ramsey and Laurie Rouche of Canyon Lake Texas. She is the Great granddaughter of Opel Triplett, the granddaughter of Carol Ramsey of Fort Worth TX and John Ramsey of Beckley WV. As a standout Volleyball player through high school, Amber will now be getting the chance to shine at a college level.

“She has always been athletic and Volleyball has always been her sport. I am very proud and Amber worked very hard and was dedicated and missed many functions to play volleyball.” said her mom Laurie.

“I am very proud as she has become a young woman and I hope her dedication continues with her education,” said dad Tim. “I am also proud of how she is making decisions and I wish her all the luck… she has all the love that her Father can have with this young lady.”

Amber will be joining her big sister Shawna on campus. Congratulations to Amber.
