36th Annual Music in the Mountains Bluegrass Festival Opens June 22 in Summersville

Norman Adams Bluegrass, LLC, Promoters, announce that the 36th Annual Music in the Mountains Bluegrass Festival will take place at Summersville Music Park, Summersville, WV, on June 22, 23, 24 & 25, 2016.  The four day event begins Wednesday, June 22nd at 11:00 a.m. and goes until 10:00 p.m. nightly.
Wednesday’s lineup will feature, David Parmley & Cardinal Tradition, Ralph Stanley II, Audie Blaylock & Redline, Feller & Hill & The Bluegrass Buckaroos, The Gibson Brothers (IBMA Entertainers of the Year 2012 & 2014). Featured performers are Dailey & Vincent (Grammy nominated and winner of IBMA Entertainer for three years) will perform one 90-minute set beginning at 8:15 pm.
Thursday’s lineup begins at 11:00 am and goes until 10:00 pm, featuring Marteka & William, The James Price Band, Wayne Taylor & Applaloosa, Blue-Rock’n Grass,  Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road, Marty Raybon & Full Circle.  Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver renowned performer for over 40 years and winner of IBMA & SPBGMA awards will perform one 90-minute set at 8:30 p.m.
Friday’s lineup of talent begins at 11:00 am and goes until 10:00 pm featuring Melvin Goins & Windy Mountain, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers, Big Country Bluegrass, The Grascals,  Balsam Range (IBMA Entertainers for 2014) and Rhonda Vincent & The Rage (Winner of IBMA Female Vocalist 8 Years and Queen of Bluegrass) will perform two shows at 2:30 pm and 8:00 pm.
Saturday’s lineup of talent begins at 11:00 a.m. featuring Larry Efaw & The Bluegrass Mountaineers, The Fishers with Ray Deaton, The Primitive Quartet, The Little Roy & Lizzy Show, Goldwing Express, Dale Ann Bradley (IBMA Female Vocalist)  and Larry Sparks & The Lonesome Ramblers with over 50 years in the bluegrass business.
Contact Adams Bluegrass for tickets at 706-864-7203.  For camping beginning June 18th, which is first come-first served, call 304-872-6698.  Daily ticket prices are $45.00 in advance $50.00 at the gate.  Four day advance $130.00 and $150.00 at the gate.  Three day advance $120.00 and $140.00 at the gate.  Children ages 7-13-$20.00 per day, children under 7 Free with parent.   Special after 6 p.m. price of $30.00.  Advance ticket orders must be received by June 15th, 2016.
Bring your lawn chairs.  Hot food concessions on premises.  No alcoholic beverages or pets except service animals are allowed in the concert area.  This is a family show.  Show goes on rain or shine.  Sound by Blue Ridge Sound.  Sherry Boyd, M.C.
