The most valuable thing in the world belongs to you.
You own it and need to be careful to keep it close to you. There are those who would do their best to tarnish it or make you believe it is not really yours. Some will tell you how to use it and what to do with it. But remember, it is yours. You own it and no one can take it away from you. All through your life there have been attempts to train you how to use it. Many have tried to manipulate your usage of it and some have tried to take it for themselves.
What am I talking about? What could be so valuable? What is it that is mine and mine alone. What do I have that others desire to have or at least control? You may feel like you have nothing of value but you do. If properly trained and used it will enable you to overcome adversities and deal with even the most trying circumstances. However, if it is not properly attended to and nurtured it can cause you much grief and heartache.
I am speaking of your free will, your ability to choose. The choices you make determine your future. They will enable you or place you in bondage.
They will give you liberty or they will be a curse following you.
God sent us a word of wisdom through the writing of Moses when He said in De 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: You have the ability to make that choice. Joshua said about the same thing in Jos 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Our choices not only impact our tomorrow but they will determine our eternity. We are headed for either Heaven or Hell. We are an eternal spirit and one day we will reach our destination. It will either be eternal blessings or eternal curse. You are the one who makes that choice. Choose wisely, today. God gave you the right.
