Every true scientific discovery that man has made does one thing. It confirms what the Bible said long ago. Man has a scientific curiosity and wants God to prove Himself. God already did. Man is still baffled by the lightening bug, the chameleon and the butterfly. One look at planet earth should be enough evidence that it was God who made it. Perhaps you consider your ancestry as from the monkey or the ape but I do not. Darwin is a popular name because he came up with a “theory.” The theory may have certain appeal but it is still an unproven and erroneous theory. The discovery of a hog’s tooth does not prove Darwin’s theory.
When archeology makes a discovery it only serves to prove that what God put in the Bible is accurate and true. Buddha may have had some good ideas but he is dead. Confusus had some good ideas but he is also dead. Jesus Christ lives and soon will return to earth to catch away all those who truly believe in Him.
In a sense all the religions place a demand on mankind to prove something or the other. They have to earn your reward. Christianity is different. Jesus paid the price for us with His life’s blood and simply wants us to believe what He did, who He is and follow Him. Some religions are demanding and require their adherents to maim and kill: Jesus comes to us in love. The Koran teaches its followers to kill for the name of Mohammad. Isis is an example we can all relate to. Voodoo thrives on curses and magic. New Age professes that we are all god’s ourselves. There’s a lot of confusion when it comes to religion but there is only one way to eternal life and that is through Jesus Christ. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
When you read the Bible and see God feeding a whole nation (2 or 3 million) for 40 years in a wilderness or opening the Red Sea and they passed over on dry land and in that same place a whole army (Egyptian) perishing in that same body of water, it wasn’t Darwin or Buddha.
When you study and see prophesies given hundreds of years before they come to pass and it happen just as prophesied, that ought to tell you something.
Christianity is not religion. Christianity is a relationship borne out of faith in Jesus Christ. It is available to all but only comes through faith. Jesus loves you and so does God the Father. God is not interested in your past but He wants to give you a future that spans eternity. He won’t force you but He will receive you through Jesus. Your decision. Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
