Being politically correct seems to be a new standard that is expected to be compulsory to everyone.  But what does it mean?  Is it designed to elevate us to a new height in society, improve our communication skills?  Are we the better for it?  Who says?  Who determines it all?
I totally agree that we should do the best we can.  I don’t want my words or thoughts to offend anyone.  However, I also don’t want to compromise the principles I live by nor do I necessarily want to have to live by someone else’s expectations.
Our courts are telling us that we must remove the 10 commandments because somebody might have a religious thought.  So?  Don’t pray because someone might be offended.  If I am praying for my family, my country or anything else and someone is offended, so be it.  I want to be morally correct and biblically correct and if that offends someone they can either get over it or adjust.  We should be considerate but not bound by someone’ else’s emotions, feelings or persuasions.
Life if America has always been based on Christian values and moral standards.  We are under attack by Islam, the ACLU, socialism and secularism.  President Obama says we are no longer a Christian nation.  Muslim’s are crying out Jihad and our courts are out of control by taking it upon themselves to legislate.  Churches have become social gatherings and even the Boy Scouts have become a target.  It seems we have lost our way.  We have either forgotten or are ignoring our heritage.  We have let the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Word of God slip from our fingers and our minds.
I am speaking generally but thank God there is still person who seek, praise and worship God first and foremost and put Him first in their lives.  There is still a remnant that believes the Bible and prays to God and does their best to live by His standards.  Woe unto this nation if it ever ceases to be so.  One of our former Presidents said that if we don’t know where we have come from we will not know where we are.  The Revolutionary War was more than statistics and dates of long ago.  It was the birth pangs of a nation coming forth by the grace of God that would honor Him in such a way that He could pour out His blessing upon her.  No other nation has been so honored by God.  Please pray for a move of God that would reach from coast to coast and border to border in such a way that we, as a nation, would once again seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and that multitudes that are now on their way to hell and everlasting damnation would receive Jesus Christ and one day know the eternal joy of Heaven.
Maranatha!
