By Lee Roy Anderson

Jesus went into the temple and found their oxen, sheep, and doves being sold, and changers of money. Then HE made a scourge of small cords and drove out the changers of money and the oxen and sheep and He poured out the changers money and overthrew the tables, John 2:14-15.
He said to them that sold doves, take these things hence, make not my Father’s house a house of merchandise, John 2:16. God’s house should be set apart for the worship of God in His House of Prayer. The Jews asked Jesus for a sign to show that He acted with divine authority, verse 18. Jesus answered and said unto them, destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up, verse 19. He spoke of the temple of his body, verse 21. Jesus’ death and resurrection is the sign of His authority, His commission. It is the Gospel.
I, Christ is not risen our preaching and faith is vain or wasted. 1 Cor. 15:13-19. But, now is Christ rose from the dead and become the first fruits of them that slept. 1 Cor. 15:20. Life is worth the living just because He lives.
Ye are God’s Temple. Christians are God’s temple. They are to be wholly dedicated to God a temple of prayer. YE are a holy priesthood. 1 Peter 2:5. Pray without ceasing, 1 Thess. 5:17, within yourself. Be holy and undefiled 1 Cor. 1:16-17, cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ from all sin, 1, John 1:7. Jesus may zealous of the temple, His Father’s house. He cleansed it. Jesus is zealous of the Christian. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God and the spirit of God dwelleth in you? IF any man defile the temple of God him shall God destroy for the temple of God is holy which temple ye are, 1 Cor. 3:16-17. Are y e a temple cleansed by Jesus filled with the Holy Spirit and enjoying the fruit of the spirit. Love, joy, peace – see Galatians, 5:22-23? If not you may ask Him to cleanse your heart from an unrighteousness. But first, repent and ask Him to forgive your sins. Ask in faith.
Kindness is such a small thing and yet too few people practice it. God extends His grace to you today. Don’t put Him off. Call upon His name and repent of your sins. Ask Jesus Christ to forgive and trust Him as your savior now?
