Wilma “Wanda” Dodrill, 80, of Birch River passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Summersville Regional Hospital, Summersville. She was born March 1, 1937, in Swandale, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Chelsie Ellis and Virgie Nell Graham Loving. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Donald Rayburn Dodrill.
Wanda was a homemaker and attended Big Union Baptist Church in Dille.
She is survived by her son, Nelson Craig Dodrill of Maple Heights, OH; daughter, Dawn Rae Ellis (David) of Conyers, GA; brother, Chelsie Loving, Jr. (Sharon) of Oakwood Village, OH; grandchildren, Kelly Jo Urey, Nelson Craig Dodrill, Jr., Daniel Ray Henri, Kali Elyse Leavell, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home in Sutton with Rev. Johnny Conrad officiating. Burial followed at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Strange Creek, WV. Friends called one hour before the service at the funeral.
