William E. Olson  OBITBracketville, Texas – William (Bill) Eugene Olson, born October 4, 1932 was called home to be with his Lord on August 7, 2013. Bill leaves behind his wife Dorothy with whom he recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary; son William Bruce Olson II, daughter Victoria Ann Freilich (Leonard), and son David Clark Olson (Danielle); grandchildren Adam Bruce Olson, Christina Ann Freilich, Caitlin Marie Freilich, Julia Marie Olson, and Jennifer Elyse Olson.  Bill graced his family with his love, his humor, his strength, and his always sterling advice.  He also graced the members of every church he attended with his wonderful singing voice.  He was a devoted Christian husband and father and a friend to everyone.  He died while listening to the hymns he loved to sing.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 18, at First Baptist Church, 1102 North Ann Street, Brackettville, TX 78832.  A funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, August 19, at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive, San Antonio, TX 78230. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
