OBIT.Shawna Pennington crop out the manShawna Pennington Bragg came into this world on September 9, 1969, the way she left it, dearly loved. She departed January 10, 2014.  What a tremendous loss we all feel, that beautiful soul now belongs in the heavens.

Shawna loved to be on the river, by the ocean or on the back of a Harley with the love of her life, her husband, Shane Bragg.  She lived her life to the fullest with her family, friends and her Boxer babies.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Wayne Pennington and her brother, John Wood. Shawna is survived by her husband, Michael Shane Bragg; mother, Barbara Pennington; grandmother, Elenora “Bea” Morris and many other family members and special friends.

A visitation took place from 7-9 on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.carlwilsonfuneralhome.com Pennington Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Bragg family.

Feel the raindrops on your face?

Thousands of tears I cried, but no more.

Feel the sun warm on your skin?

That’s my loving arms around you, take it all in.

Hear the ocean waves crashing at your feet?

That’s my laughter that echoes through our times together.

Hear that Harley purr as it goes that mile?

That’s the joy racing through our memories, think of me and smile.

Not a day will go by when I’m not with you,

By your side, stumbles and falls, victories and joy.

It took too long to find you my friends,

I will never leave you, forever young.
