Russell Lee “Rusty” Heater

Vaughan, WV – Russell Lee “Rusty” Heater, 70, of Vaughan entered into rest on Wednesday, September 11, 2013.
He was retired from Reynold’s Aluminum and an Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.
He was born April 26, 1943 in Flatwoods to Dale Heater and Margie Evelyn (Older) Proctor.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Marvin Proctor; sisters, Mary Elaine Roberts and Sandra Evans; and step-brother Everette Kelly.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-mother, Peggy Heater of Pratt; sisters, Linda Ellison of Bigson, Patty Munsey of Pratt, Connie Pritt of Pratt, Cindy Moccabee of Piketon, OH; brothers, Larry Heater of Richmond, VA and Bob Heater of Pratt; and several nieces, nephews and other family members to mourn his passing.
Per Rusty’s request, his body will be cremated. A memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.
