Roberta “Bertie” Ellen Legg

Roberta “Bertie” Ellen Legg, 80, of Louisville passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at The Good Samaritan Center. Born in Clay County, WV, she retired from the Jeffersontown Preschool and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Debra and Annette Legg; sons, Max Jr. and Ed Legg; brother, Robert Allen Steorts (Gladys) and sister, Patricia Louise “Babe” Casey (Clyde).  Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be 6 p.m. Friday, April 21, at Ratterman and Sons, Jeffersontown, 10600 Taylorsville Road.  Visitation will be Friday from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be the next day at Sunset Cemetery in Clay County. Donations may go to Hopewell Baptist Church.
