Robert “Bob” Ray Holcomb

Robert “Bob” Ray Holcomb, 78, of Hartland Rd., Clay, died October 8, 2020, after a long illness.

Bob was born December 11, 1940 in Bickmore, WV and was the son of the late Rice and Ruby Holcomb.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife Maisie, his brother Mark Holcomb, and his sister Betty Taylor.

Bob is survived by his son, Mark Robert Holcomb, his brother James Holcomb of Xenia, Ohio, and his sister Sharon Gray of Indore, WV.

Bob was a graduate of Clay County High School. He joined the Air Force and met his beautiful wife Maisie in England, UK. Bob was a member and deacon at Lick Fork Free Will Baptist Church, Bickmore, WV.

The family would like to give special thanks to Molly Hypes, his care giver.

A graveside service was held at 12:00 PM on Friday, October 16, at Holcomb Cemetery, Indore, WV, with Minister John Randolph Osborne officiating.
