Paul Hazelton Williams, 92, of Sutton, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Sweet Brier Assisted Living of Dunbar.

He was born June 15, 1928 in Swandale, Clay County, and was the son of the late Lowell and Erna Williams. Also preceding him in death were his wife, Evelyn Nettles Williams; son, John Williams; daughter, Sherri Bird; brother, Maurice Williams; sister, Carol Igo; grandson, Jeff Williams, Jr.; and great-grandson, Sean.

Paul was a retired Insurance Appraiser, was a member Christ Church United Methodist, Sutton and attended First Baptist Church, Clendenin.

He is survived by his son, Jeff Williams (Brenda) of Clendenin; daughter, Teresa Critchfield (Jerry) of Elkview; grandchildren, Joe, Angie (Eddie), Dennis (Sandra), Scott (Beth), Allen (Tammy), Jennifer (Jason), Jason (Glenna), Tiffany, Laura; 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held 1:00 pm Saturday, December 28, 2020 at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton with Rev. Doug Smailes officiating. Burial followed at Braxton Memorial Cemetery, Sutton. Friends called one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Greene-Robertson Funeral Home is humbly serving Williams family.
