Columbia, SC — Patsy Legg departed this life on May 13, 2017 at her home in Columbia, SC.
Pat was the wife of the late Col. Elbert E. Legg, of Fola. She was born Patsy Ruth Lemley, in Morgantown, WV, on June 8, 1926. Pat married Elbert in 1948, and they enjoyed 58 years of marriage, including his long army career, volunteer and professional hospital work, and residence and travel throughout the world.
She is survived by her son Jim, of Columbia.
Patsy will be reunited with Elbert at Arlington National Cemetery at a date yet to be determined. Donations in her memory may be made to the J.C. Legg Memorial Scholarship Fund at Clay County Bank.
