Norma Lorraine Frame Hamrick

Widen, WV – Norma Lorraine Frame Hamrick, 85, of Widen, passed away September 30, 2015.
She was born June 6, 1930, a daughter of the late Corley C. and Anna “Pearl” P’Simer Frame.
She graduated from Widen High School in a class of 17 girls in 1948. She worked at Widen Bank until she married Russell Clayton Hamrick on April 15, 1950 who also preceded her in death. In 1981 she moved back to Widen and was her mother’s caregiver until her death.
She was also preceded in death by daughter, Loretta Morrison.
She loved painting, doing ceramics, coloring, doing crossword puzzles and watching westerns. She loved making pictures in clouds and seeing the tree leaves change in the fall. She was a romantic and had a great sense of humor. She loved her children. She put her faith in and loved her Lord. She was a Christian for 72 years.
She is survived by her children, Lorraine (Robert) Brown, Ramona (Gary) Hosey, Russell Clayton II (Debbie) Hamrick, Corley V. (Timberly) Hamrick, Craig (Ruth) Hamrick, Mark (Deborah) Hamrick and Travis Hamrick; grandchildren, Shawn, Shane, Josh, Jimmy, Nikki, Dave, Kristi, Rusty, Chasity, Jessica, JR, Tabitha, Tawny, Brian, Chris, Tyler, Michael, Noah, Telista, Kassie, and Dakota; 26 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Service was 1 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Gary Rogers officiating. Interment will be in the Poplar Ridge Cemetery, Sutton.
