Mildred Dodrill, 89, of Duck, passed away on December 19, 2019 at Clay Health Care Center, Big Otter.

She was born September 14, 1930 in Bickmore a daughter of the late Glenville Ramsey and Nona Blanche Brown Ramsey.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Dodrill; son, Jerry Dodrill; and infant daughter, Thelma Dodrill.

Mildred helped others as a caregiver.  She loved to quilt and do crossword puzzles in her pastime.  She was a gardener who loved to cook, can and bake.  She was a member of the Groves Creek Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

She will lovingly be remembered by her sons, Davy Dodrill and Johnny Dodrill; daughters, Rosie Stafford, Phyllis Ballard, Shirley Sears; brothers, Leonard Ramsey, Roy Ramsey, and John Michael Ramsey; sisters, Stella M. Starcher, Alice Ramsey, Molly Ramsey, Polly Whipkey, Maryanne Ramsey, and Syble June Ramsey; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Mildred will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
