Mary Hazel Cash Keener, 82, of Lizemores entered into rest on January 13, 2021.

She was born on May 11, 1938 to Bertha and Clarence Cash.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Anna May DeMoss, Robert Cash, Ferris Cash, Clarence Cash, and Howard Cash.

Mary is survived by her husband of sixty years, Dana Earl Keener; brother Jerry (Penny) Cash of Widen; sons, Michael (Lisa) Cash of Clay, Allen (Penny) Keener of Fola, and Wayne (Teresa) Keener of Lizemores; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Mary was a faithful member of the Lizemores Church of the Nazarene and served as a Sunday School Teacher over a span of forty years. She was “Mammaw Mary” to everyone she knew, and to know her was to love her.

“Blessed is she who believed, for there will be fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Luke 1:45 NKJV

Graveside service was held Monday, January 18, 2021 at 12 PM at Coen Cemetery in Calhoun County with Minister Robert Thomas officiating.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.carlwilsonfuneralhome.com. Wilson Smith is honored to be serving the Keener family.
