Margie D. Gray, 75, of Upper Glade, WV, passed away August 20, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon, WV. She was born February 7, 1942 in Charleston, WV, to the late Thomas and Gay Tanner Young. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Kenneth Gray, son, Carlos Gray, brothers, Ralph, Gene, French, sisters, Pearl and Hattie.
Margie was a homemaker and Christian by faith.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Gray of Sutton, daughters, Cindy Shaffer (Charles) of Upper Glade, Lisa Taylor of Summersville, 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton, with the Rev. Danny Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Ramsey Cemetery, Clay County. Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home.
