On January 14, 2023, Macil Ann Bird went home to be with Christ her Lord and Savior
Macil was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a homemaker and member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Lizemores, WV.
She is survived by her husband, Thruman Bird; son, Timothy Bird; daughter, Tammy Bird; grandchildren, Micheal Bird (Syndi), Amber Bird, and Nicholas Davi;, great-granddaughter, Kyra Duffield; brother, Jerry Duffield (Cindy); and sisters, Wanda Walters (Billy) and Martha Bird.
Macil is proceeded in death by her grandson, Chad Duffield; parents, Jack and Goldie Duffield; and many loving siblings.
A funeral service for Macil was held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Wilson Smith Funeral Home in Clay with a viewing from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. for friends and family with Minister Jason Moore officiating. Burial followed at Clay Memorial Gardens in Clay.
Wilson Smith is honored to be serving the Bird family.
