Clay— Lula Cutlip, 86, of Clay, entered into rest Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017.
Born May 17, 1930, in Clay, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lydia (Samson) Tanner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Cutlip.
Lula is survived by her sons, Woodrow Ray Cutlip Jr. and Tiger Cutlip; daughters, Carolyn Sue Burkhamer, Dottie Lou Rider, Deborah Kay Cutlip, Rosemary Grose, Tamela June Ross and Ivy Cutlip Fox; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Dennis Tanner.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with minister Dewey Tanner officiating. Burial was in Moorefork Cemetery, Big Otter.
Friends gathered with family one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
