Louie Allen Sirk

Duck, WV–Louie Allen Sirk, 79, of Duck, WV, passed away December 28, 2016.

Louie was born June 13, 1937, in O’Brion, WV, to the late Paul Harvard Sirk and the late Margaret Rogers Sirk. He attended Clay County High School in WV. Louie was a retired road construction worker. He was a member of Operating Engineers and the United Steel Workers Union.
Survivors include his wife, Iris Kay Hyer Sirk, of the home; two daughters, Hilda Pettit (Bruce), of Ravenna, OH, and Kathy Sizemore (Ed), of Maysel, WV; three sons, Curt Sirk (Wanda), of Heath Springs, SC, Rodney Sirk (Lenny), of Fair Hope, AL, and Tim Sirk (Hanh), of Churchville, MD; three sisters, Leah Dawson, Connie Wilkinson (Boyd) and Linda Ficarra all of OH; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the farm in during the Spring.
