Clay County WV – Lloyd Lonzo Jones “Lon”, of Clay County, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 at CAMC- General Division in Charleston.

Born September 1, 1943 in Clay County, he is the son of the late Ewing Cluster and Joy Nita (Foster) Jones.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda (Haught) Jones; 4 infant siblings; and 5 half-brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his companion, Debra Cage; children, Angela Jackson of MD, Charles Coleman (Loretta) of Clay Co., Homer Jones, Sr. (Aundrea) of Clay Co., Debra Jean Stewart (Benji) of Clay Co., and Ralph Taylor of Summersville; brothers and sisters, Karen Mullins (Roger) of Bentree, James Jones (Wanda) of Summersville, Ethel Coleman (Freddie) of Clay Co., Gay Elliott (Jerrel) of Clay Co., and Kirby Jones (Kay) of Summersville; and ten grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at 3 pm on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Rogers Cemetery, Glen with the Reverend Gene Truman officiating.
