Lester Starcher

O’brion, WV – Lester Starcher, 86, of O’Brion entered into rest Wednesday, November 5, 2014.

Born June 7, 1928 in Clay, he was the son of the late Willie and Annie (Keener) Starcher.

He was retired from the Department of Highways in Braxton County and a member of O’Brion Advent Christian Church.

Lester is survived by his wife of 49 years Stella Starcher of O’Brion, sons, Roy Starcher of Barberton, Oh, Alvin Starcher of Belle, Ronnie Starcher of Sissonville, Ernest Starcher Alliances, Oh, Kenneth Ramsey of Garrettsville, Oh, daughters, Charlotte Greenleaf of Grantsville, Alice Ramsey of Sutton, Ressa Claypool of O’Brien, 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, brother, Clifford Starcher of Gassaway and sister, Mable Sullivan of Ravenna, Oh.

Funeral service was held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November  8, 2014 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay with Minister James Balser officiating.  Burial was in the Starcher Cemetery, Big Otter.

Friends called one hour prior to the service.
