Ledford William Woods, 74, of Dille, WV passed away, Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at his residence.

He was born July 21, 1943 in Clay County, WV the son of the late Otis Gill and Pluma Young Woods. Also preceding him in death is his wife, Linda Joyce King Woods; and several brothers and sisters.

Ledford was a coal miner, loved to fish and hunt from deer season to turkey season. He also dearly loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Harvey Woods of Dille, Alvie Woods of Strange Creek; daughters, Sue Runion of Clay, WV, Terry Johnson, Patricia Woods and Linda Kay Woods all of Harrison, WV; sisters, Judy Butcher of Dille, Cheryl Starcher of IN; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 9 at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Strange Creek with Rev. Wayne Litton officiating. Upon his request there was no visitation.
