Clay — Justin Benjamin O’Brien, 34, of Dog Run, Clay, WV, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at The University of Kentucky in Lexington. Justin was born on September 28, 1982, at CAMC in Charleston, WV. Justin is the son of Ronald Gene O’Brien (deceased) and Pamela O’Brien Dorsey.

Justin worked for Slurry Paving since graduating Clay County High School in 2001. Justin had a deep love for WVU, his devotion could visually be seen upon entering his home. Justin preferred watching the news over a TV show or movie, even as a child. Justin enjoyed country music, especially George Jones. Justin was a kind and generous person who was always willing to help others.

Justin is survived by his brother, Joshua O’Brien and wife Jill of Lizemores; step-sister, Julia Drake of Sutton; nieces, Courtney O’Brien, Lexie Webb, and Skye Drake; and girlfriend, Bobbi Mullins of Dog Run.

Maternal grandparents are, Robert (deceased) and Charlotte Taylor of Lizemores,  and Billy J. Dorsey and wife Jane of Verona, VA. Paternal grandparents are, Kenneth (deceased) and Maxine O’Brien of Hansford Fork.

Justin will be sadly missed by many uncles, aunts and cousins.

A memorial service to celebrate Justin’s life and time with us will be held July 15, 2017, at 6 p.m.  in Swandale at the C\Upper camp owned by Steve and Sharon Adkins.

If Justin touched your life, please come and share your stories of how he enriched your life. All who know and love Justin are encouraged to attend.

Food and refreshments will be served.

A covered dish would be appreciated.
