Joyce Ann Drake, 71, of Grannies Creeks, WV went home to be with her lord and savior Saturday, November 12, 2022.

Joyce enjoyed going to church and spending time with her church family. Joyce was a committed follower of Jesus Christ. She left a legacy to her family of Gods amazing love and grace and was an example to all who knew her. We look forward to the day we are reunited in heaven. Joyce also enjoyed doing floral arrangements and spending time with her family.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Burt and Nora Jean Brown, infant sister Jane Brown, and son James Brian Gould. She is survived by her husband Charles (Chuck) Drake of Grannies Creek; her daughter Angela (and her favorite son-in-law John D.) Osborne of Bickmore; step-daughter Trina Drake of Millersburg, Ohio; and daughter-in-law Christie Gould of Clay. She is also survived by her siblings Cathy (Gary) Thomas of New Philadelphia, Ohio; Barbra (Snooks) Robb of Millersburg, Ohio; Anita (Randy) Holcomb of Bickmore; and John (Pam) Brown of Maysel. She is also survived by her grandchildren who she dearly loved, Tyler Gould of Maryland, Brittany (Rick) Wiseman of Nettie, Brooklyn Gould of Clay, Ballard Gould of Clay, Lilly Osborne of Bickmore, and step-grandchildren Milina and Dalton Drake of Millersburg, Ohio. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Gracelyn Brooke Gould and Grant Alexander Wiseman; along with five nephews and three nieces.

Joyce’s services will be held at Wilson-Smith funeral home in Clay on Friday, November 18, 2022. Visitation is from 12 to 1 P.M for family and 1 to 2 P.M for friends.
