Jerry Clayton Fields

Clay, WV – Jerry Clayton Fields, 72 of Clay, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016 after a short illness.
Born February 11, 1944 in Wallback, he was the son of the late Carl and Mildred (Woodall) Fields.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Billy and Bob.
Jerry is survived by his brother, Everett Fields of Wakeman, Oh; sisters,  Pearl Gerlach of Liverpool, NY, Jean (Oliver) Owens of Waldorf, MD and Annise Greathouse of Newton; sister-in-law, Janice Fields of Newton; many nephew, nieces, cousins and friends.
Funeral service was held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister BJ Smith officiating.  Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
