Jacqueline “Jacki” Lee Morto

Jacqueline “Jacki” Lee Morton, 43, of Wallback, entered into rest Tuesday, May 1, 2018.

Born January 16, 1975, she was the daughter of Gloria “Sissy” (Pritt) White of Hartland and the late Henry “Henry Lee” White.

In addition to her mother, Jacki is survived by her husband, Trent Morton; daughter, Emily Morton; son, Ben Morton all of Wallback; and sister, Rose Ann Nottingham of Fola.

She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  Jacki wanted nothing more in life than to be a mother and she loved her kid’s more than anything. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She had several nieces and nephews who she loved with all her heart. Jackie had many friends she considered family and was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

Jackie loved life and lived her life for the Lord and was a member of the Laurel Fork Missionary Baptist Church.

A funeral service was held Friday, May 4, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Pastor B.J. Evans officiating.  Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore.

In lieu of flowers, Jacki requested donations to be made to Emily & Ben College fund at Clay County Bank 150 Main Street P.O. Box 239 Clay, WV 25043 (304-587-4221).
