Irene Neal OBITBelva, WV – Irene Neal, 83, of Belva, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013 at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston.
Born March 31, 1930 in Greenbrier County, she was the daughter of Hobart and Ursley Holcomb Brown.
She was a member of the Vaughan Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nenferd Neal; son, David Neal, two brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her children, Harry Neal (Thelma) of Charleston, Joanna Fritz (Jeffrey) of Morgantown, Naomi “Ruth” Jones of Charleston, Esther Willis (Hoy) of Drennen, John Neal of Belva, Jesse Neal of Montgomery, Alma Shaffer (David) of Clarksburg, Clarence Neal of Belva; daughter-in-law, Leeann Neal of Montgomery; brothers, Ernest Brown and Bob Brown, both of Belva; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at 11am on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Vaughan Baptist Church with Pastor Naaman Moore officiating. Burial followed in the Neal Cemetery at Twenty-Mile.
