Hester Ellen McKinney

Widen — Hester Ellen McKinney, 79, of Widen, entered into rest Friday, October 7, 2016.
Born April 29, 1937, in Harrison, she was the daughter, of the late Roscoe and Vida (Johnson) Taylor. In addition to her parents, Hester was preceded in death by her husband, Bob McKinney; one brother; and three sisters.
Hester is survived by her sons, Robert McKinney of Clay and Ricky McKinney of Huntington; daughters, Debbie Hamrick of Mt. Lookout, Kathy Tinney of Widen, Sharon Adkins of Clay and Joyce Jones of Bomont; 21 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Taylor of Dille; sisters, Ora Hamrick of Clay, Genevieve Selbe of Charleston, Nettie Salisbury of Gates, N.C. and Helen Atkinson of Warren Ohio.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2016, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, with Minister Wayne Litton officiating. Burial followed in the Ramsey Cemetery, Dog Run.
Friends gathered with family two hours prior to the services at the funeral home.
