Herbert “Bubby” Sears, 74, of Big Otter, entered into rest Monday, April 2, 2018.
Born December 14, 1943, in Clay, he was the son of the late Herbert L. and Rosa (Rogers) Sears.
He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors.
Herbert is survived by his wife, Irene Sears of Big Otter; sons, Jamie (Sara) Sears of Big Otter and Scottie (Rockiel) Sears of Poca; daughter, Leandra (Jesse) Samms of Charleston; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Brandon, Cody, Heather, Eric, Nathan Sears and Aubrey Samms; brothers, Emory Pat Sears, Laurence Dale Sears both of Big Otter and Ralph Sears of Hansford Fork; sister, Clara Sears of Big Otter.
A funeral service was held Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay. Burial will be in Moorefork, Cemetery, Big Otter.
