Henry E. Nichols

Henry E. Nichols, 88, of Jodie, went home to heaven, Friday, March 22, 2019 at Montgomery Extended Care.

Born December 2, 1930 in Fayette County, he was the son of the late Green and Ona (Pritt) Nichols.  In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by his wife, Thelma, two sons and one grandson.

Henry is survived by his five sons, Dale (Roberta) Bird of Jodie, Jackie Nichols of Jodie, Walter Nichols of Jodie, Darrell (Diana) Nichols of Circleville, Robert (Candy) Nichols of Alta; daughter, Carol (Ronnie) Bragg of Jodie; eighteen grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Billy (Francie) Nichols.

A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March, 27, at Wilson-Smith Funeral Home, Clay with Minister Thurmond Sizemore officiating.  Burial followed in the Holcomb & Nichols Family Cemetery, Glen.

Friends gathered with family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
